Book Two

                        

To anyone who may be interested or isn’t following on social media -- Book 2 is finally swaying drunkenly over the horizon.

It’s still a relatively distant horizon (May 2018) but… it’s definitely staggering into view.

Book 2 now even has a name-- the title is “Object of Desire” (henceforth OOD) and it’s set in the Bitter Legacy universe. Like BL it’s coming out through Blind Eye Books and edited by the brilliant Nicole Kimberling, who broke it to me, after reading the first draft, that I’d accidentally written a psychological thriller. I’d thought Id written another mystery. Yes, I really am that on-the-ball.

I can’t share any excerpts yet because we’re still screaming, wrestling and gouging over them (edits have just begun, pictured above), but it’s okay to say that the central character of this book is a bit different psychologically to James Henderson. His name is Tom Gray, and he’s a model at the very top of his game.  Sadly, poor old Tom isn’t going to have a particularly nice time of it.  I say that as if it isn’t my fault.

I’ll try to do better to keep this blog updated on progress (and thank you very much to the readers not on SM who poked me severely about that, because I needed it).  Aaand, back to edits… *Cracks knuckles. Dons body armour. Bursts into tears.*
